DeMar DeRozan has addressed a report that his nine-year-old daughter was escorted out of Scotiabank Arena by team security after her shrieks during Raptors free throw attempts went viral at Wednesday’s play-in game.
DeRozan told to NBC Sports Chicago that the measure to escort Diar DeRozan was precautionary after she allegedly received several online threats, according to a report from Chris Haynes of TNT.
“I was with her. I guarantee you nothing would ever happen when I’m with my daughter,” DeRozan told NBC Sports Chicago after the Bulls lost to the Miami Heat on Friday.
