A one-time Pan Am Games employee has apologized to David Peterson after her multi-million sexual harassment lawsuit against the former premier was dismissed by the Ontario Superior Court.
Ximena Morris issued an apology to both Peterson and his wife, Shelley, for launching the suit in 2015.
“We have maintained from the beginning that this lawsuit was completely without merit. Sexual harassment is intolerable. This was never that case,” said his lawyer Lisa Talbot of Torys LLP.
“David Peterson is a public figure who has contributed enormously to the service of the people of Ontario, both as premier and through continued volunteering activities, including chairing the Pan Am Games,” Talbot said Tuesday.
