After Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert and guard Donovan Mitchell both tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, the NBA took the conscious decision to suspend the 2019-20 season for precautionary measures. Following on from that, the Toronto Raptors elected to do testing on everyone who was present when they defeated the Jazz on Monday in Utah.
The testing took place on Wednesday and the results were released on Friday afternoon. For now, the news remains promising. The results came back negative for the majority of the team, while it was announced that they were still awaiting the results of one individual.
