When Chris Boucher gets his chance to get in a game for the Toronto Raptors, he’s going to make the most of it by being sure he gets his shots and is around the action and doing whatever he can so people notice him.
He is not shy by any means.
“He’s certainly got what I would consider a fearless approach to playing in the NBA,” Toronto coach Nick Nurse said before the Raptors played their lone pre-season home game at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday night. “He thinks he can play and he shows that.”
But it’s one thing to be aggressive and an entirely different thing to be smart and consistent, and that’s what Boucher has to show now that he’s being given every chance to crack Toronto’s regular-season rotation.
