CHARLOTTE, N.C.—It has become Dwane Casey’s mantra, his dead-on description of the Raptors this season.
“Work in progress,” he says so often he finds himself apologizing sometimes for its overuse.
And while Casey always uses it to describe the whole, it can be applied to individuals as well, particularly young centre Bismack Biyombo, an intriguing young talent who returns to play here tonight with Toronto for the first time since leaving the Charlotte Hornets as a free agent in July.
For whatever experience Biyombo gained in four seasons in Charlotte, it barely prepared him for the demands the Raptors are now placing on him.
