BROOKLYN, N.Y.—That it happened once for the Raptors defies most odds, that the possibility it could happen again exists almost defies credulity.
But if somehow Christian Koloko becomes a player — and early indications are there’s a chance of that happening — it will be an unlikely chapter in the lore of the franchise’s ability to unearth gems from anywhere on the planet.
Koloko, the seven-foot-one rookie taken the second round of last summer’s draft, is now the second player from Douala, Cameroon, to play for the Raptors, a statistical quirk that’s impossible to fully explain.
