Advisory council officially a success for Lowry, others

Group trying to help to improve NBA officiating has “opened the door” for change, point guard says

Over the course of a couple of days in the off-season, Kyle Lowry developed an added appreciation for NBA referees and the man charged with teaching them how to better do their jobs.

Lowry was a member of the NBA’s Officials Advisory Council, a group of disparate, accomplished men and women from inside the game and out that the league put together to improve all facets of officiating.
