Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas will miss the rest of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Miami Heat with a sprained ankle, reports ESPN's Marc J. Spears.

There's no word on if he will miss time in the Eastern Conference Finals, if Toronto advances past Miami. Valanciunas sprained his ankle in the third quarter in Toronto's Game 3 win over the Heat when trying to block Dwyane Wade's shot.

Valanciunas has 16 points and 12 rebounds before he went out. He was averaging 15.0 points and 12.1 rebounds per game in the playoffs, including 18.3 points and 12.7 rebounds in this series against Miami.
Backup center Bismack Biyombo will likely take over Valanciunas' starting role. He's averagin 4.1 points and 7.7 rebounds rebounds per game in the postseason.
