While the Toronto Raptors haven't tipped their hands publicly about just where they are focusing their efforts with the #20 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, one name that keeps popping up in conjunction with the selection is Louisville forward Montrezl Harrell.
Though the Raptors are one of the more complete teams in the East, there are still a few holes they need to fill, either through the draft or free agency. One such hole is a versatile forward, preferably one with a non-stop, high-running motor. If the Raptors want to fill that hole through the draft, they could do so with Montrezl Harrell, who worked out for the team on June 13, according to Raptors HQ.
"'Pure intensity,' was how Director of Scouting Dan Tolzman described him. And when asked how he saw himself, Harrell was quick to mention why he was here. '[To show] my hard working effort, relentless on both ends of the backboard, just getting up and down the floor playing.'"
Harrell is projected to be available with the 20th pick, and he'd be a hard talent to pass on, given the team's needs.
