NEW YORK -- Yankees manager Aaron Boone knows he's earning a reputation for arguing with umpires.
Boone got ejected for the fourth time on Thursday this season and the second time in four days, most famously getting tossed in 2019 while going on his famous "Savages in the Box" rant. But despite his reputation, Boone does not think it's changed the way umpires are treating him.
"I think I've earned that reputation," Boone said. "Do I think it's leading to a quick hook? Not necessarily. I think last night was quick, but that could be a one-off.
