The Toronto Maple Leafs traded their original 2023 first round pick for Ryan O’Reilly and Noel Acciari ahead of this past season’s trade deadline.
However, the Toronto maple Leafs acquired the Boston Bruins’ first round pick (and Erik Gustafsson) from the Washington Capitals for defenceman Rasmus Sandin less than a couple weeks later.
Due to the playoff and regular season results, this pick is now the 28th overall pick at this upcoming draft.
Assuming the Leafs choose to keep the pick on June 28th, there are many interesting players that could be available.
