Watch Auston Matthews take two penalty shots in one game

In the second period against the Kings Thursday night, the Leafs were in a deep hole, when Auston Matthews got a breakaway. Anze Kopitar tried (or maybe succeeded) in stick checking him, got the stick up too high, and Matthews was awarded a penalty shot.

That was his tenth goal of the year, and the 50th of his young NHL career. Jonathan Quick was mad for the eleven-millionth time in his career.

Late in the game, Jake Muzzin knocked the net off while Quick was under heavy pressure, so a second penalty shot was awarded.
