This week has seen another name pop into view of potential exits from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Forgotten winger Mark Arcobello scored his first three goals of the season in two games this past week, adding his name to the list of the “What can we get for him” game.
Before anyone gets overly excited, the return for Arcobello will be minimal if there is even interest. For those who doubt there could be any market for the right winger, just look back at last year’s deadline when Olli Jokinen was shipped to the St. Louis Blues.
What Arcobello brings is an affordable depth winger who has put up decent numbers in his multiple stops in the NHL.
