This morning, before the start of the Toronto Marlies game, it was revealed that associate coach Gord Dineen was let go from the organization. Kyle Dubas addressed the firing post game:
Dubas on Dineen firing: "It was a top down organizational decision." No replacement this season. Dubas added Keefe will run power play.

Dubas said he and Keefe will work together to replace Dineen for the start of next season. No interim coach.

Dineen was let go from his position as Associate Coach after 53 Marlies games so far this season, with the team record 28-22-3-1.
