The Toronto Marlies prevailed in a very hard fought Game 7 win vs the Albany Devils to advance to the third round against the Hershey Bears.
The first period was one of which the Marlies dominated most of -- Zach Hyman and Connor Brown stood out the most for the Marlies as their line gave the Devils a ton of trouble in the defensive zone all period long, they created chances, moved the puck well, used their speed well which was a big factor. Antoine Bibeau had a sharp period as he turned aside all eight shots he faced.
