The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Calgary Flames on Monday by a score of 4-1 and will be looking to build on that games relatively strong defensive performance in tonight’s game.
The Leafs, who are 7-2-1 in their last ten games, will be facing an Edmonton team that is 26 places and 11 points below them in the standings. The Oilers can’t seem to buy a goal, despite being near the lead in many of the peripheral stats. They’ll be in tough tonight as they are now without goalie Cam Talbot for two weeks and will be starting Laurent Brossoit who has a save percentage under 900 and a goals against average over 3.
