The Toronto Maple Leafs will play their first game of the 2022-23 NHL Season tomorrow night against the Montreal Canadiens.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are coming off of a franchise record 115 point season that saw them finish fourth overall.
Unfortunately, the Leafs drew the back-to-back Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning in round one and were unable to advance, despite a good showering and playing well enough to deserve the victory.
The Leafs were already one of the best teams in the league, and so they didn’t do too much this summer other than shuffle around some depth pieces and swap out their goalies.
