The Toronto Maple Leafs have been showcasing and developing their young talent in the final games of the season. While most nights the young talents are stealing the show, a surprising figure is emerging for the Blue and White: Colin Greening.
Standing 6 ft 3, the 212 pound power forward was under-performing in Ottawa and spent a majority of the season in the AHL. As a secondary piece in the Dion Phaneuf trade, Greening’s name didn’t excite many Leafs fans in early February; however in the initial games, the work ethic, physicality and penchant for battling in the dirty areas brought notice to Greening’s game.
