On Thursday, the Toronto Maple Leafs uploaded a video to Instagram with a sneak-peak of some promotional content. One part of the video showed Auston Matthews sporting a possible ‘C’ on his jersey.
A lot of people think the team tried to blur it out and couldn’t, but with such a massive history behind the captaincy of the Toronto Maple Leafs, I don’t think the Leafs media team would make a mistake like this.
Fast forward to Friday, Mike Babcock addressed the captaincy, “We’ll announce our decision here coming up and end the speculation.
