The Toronto Maple Leafs have a knack for scouting and developing offensive talent, and one of the most recent players to turn the head this season is Pierre Engvall.
It was announced via the Twitter Wednesday afternoon that The Toronto Maple Leafs extended Pierre Engvall on a two-year, $2.5 million deal, which will likely go down as yet another great decision made this year by GM Kyle Dubas.
Engvall was drafted in the seventh round of the 2014 draft, 188th overall, and joined a list of six different players this season who were drafted by Toronto later than the fifth round within the past decade to have spent time in the NHL.
