Today the Toronto Maple Leafs announced that right-shooting defender Justin Holl has been re-signed to a two-year contract:
Holl made Maple Leafs history last season when he scored a goal in his first two NHL games, the first time any Maple Leaf has done so. To top things off, he did it on the fathers’ road trip, so his dad got to see it in person.
He was a key piece for the Toronto Marlies Calder Cup win this spring, as a solid defender in their own end.
