Clune received a two-way deal worth $575K for the 2015-2016 season and was on the ice with the Toronto Maple Leafs today. In eight games with the Marlies this year Clune has recorded two goals and three assists to go with 18 penalty minutes and a +2 rating.
Clune won’t be expected – nor is he capable of – providing much offense at the NHL level.
