The 30 year old Finnish netminder is coming off a one year contract that saw him paid $3.8M – which followed a two year deal worth $2.75M per season. The Toronto Maple Leafs – and any other team – would be foolish to pay Ramo anything close to either of those numbers.
Ramo had below average numbers for the Calgary Flames last season and shows no signs of being able to elevate his game from where it currently stands.
The unrestricted free agent has two seasons with a 5v5 save percentage of 91.
