While Griffith hasn’t recorded a point in his three games for the Toronto Maple Leafs, he’s been a bright spot during his time so far.
Three games isn’t much to go on, but it’s all we have and all indications are that Griffith is an effective player. He’s got the lowest corsi-against per 60 and the highest corsi-for per 60.
Even though he’s only played 26 minutes of 5v5 time, Griffith is taking his opportunity to force the Leafs to keep him in the lineup.
If he continues to generate chances and have positive play at both ends of the rink, Mike Babcock will have no choice but to keep him in the lineup.
