Tomorrow night in Las Vegas, the NHL will host their annual awards gala. Like in previous years, the show will feature absolutely brutal musical guests, award presentations, bad jokes and will most likely be difficult to sit through without the use of a fast-forward button. What will be different about this show as compared to previous years will be the presence of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Leafs have people up for not one, but two awards. No Leafs player has been nominated, let alone won an award since Doug Gilmour won the Selke for best defensive forward back in 1993.
