Jeremy Bracco was close to setting the Kitchener Rangers point streak record. He had passed Steve Downie’s 25 game streak to take second place on the Rangers all time list by scoring his 17th goal of the season in a 3-2 OT win over the Kingston Frontenacs. It would end there however, as the London Knights would keep Bracco off the scoreboard while beating Kitchener 6-2 on Sunday.
Bracco and Boston’s Joseph Woll will head south to Buffalo this week for Team USA’s World Junior Championship camp, and Nikita Korostelev will be heading to the Russian camp, and Martins Dzierkals is staying out of Rouyn-Noranda games, healing a small injury ahead of the tournament.
