Toronto Maple Leafs prospect report: CHL opening weekend

It’s time for the prospects to play! The CHL opened it’s seasons this past weekend and I mus say it went well, if for no reason other than the Niagara IceDogs went undefeated. The Leafs prospects were also playing, so let’s see how they did.

The big note is the Flint Firebirds starting off 2-0, the newest OHL franchise needs some good news early in the season for once. In Flint Nicolas Mattinen is playing a bigger role than he ever did in London and flouishing in this small sample size.
