Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, Filip Král, is heating up! The defenseman scored two goals and six points in four games last week for the Toronto Marlies and was awarded as the AHL’s Player of the Week. He is also on a five game point streak.
Filip Král, who was an honorable mention on the EIL Toronto Maple Leafs Top 10 Prospect List before the season started, is enjoying his first full season in the AHL with two goals and 14 points in 27 games so far in his rookie season. He played 10 games with the Marlies last season registering two goals but spent the majority of his time with HC Kometa Brno in the Czech Extraliga where he put up 21 points in 48 games.
