After splitting two games this past weekend, the Toronto Maple Leafs record is now 11-6, good for second place in the Atlantic Division and four points ahead of the New York Rangers who are in ninth place.
To give you some idea of the parity affecting the NHL in the salary cap era, even though the Leafs are one three game losing streak away from being on the outside of the playoff picture, they are in fourth place in the overall league standings.
Not bad for a team playing without two elite players.
Toronto Maple Leafs by the Numbers
The Leafs are tied for second in ROW (wins in OT/Regulation) with 11, behind Nashville’s 13.
