In an article from the London Free Press, Kadri had this to say on the Toronto Maple Leafs upcoming season:
“Of course, we can do (what the Flames did),” he said. “We have a lot of guys on our team wanting to prove themselves. Mike Babcock is going to set the bar high and I would not be shocked if we surprised other teams.
“They can’t expect us to roll over and be one of those last-seeded teams. We’re going to compete.” (London Free Press)
The Mike Babcock-led Toronto Maple Leafs may not roll over, but they can certainly be expected to be at the bottom of the league by the end of the season.
