The Professional Hockey Writers Association released their finalists for the Norris Trophy, and the Toronto Maple Leafs Morgan Rielly was not on the list.
Probably angry at the slight, Rielly had one of his best games ever yesterday afternoon.
Even though the Leafs lost, Rielly played like a man possessed and the Leafs were a completely different team when he was on the ice.

The NHL Awards almost never get it right, and by nominating Brent Burns, Mark Giordano and Victor (Reputation Vote) Hedman, they proved yet again that they are not up to the task of picking the proper winner.
