The Toronto Maple Leafs line of JVR-Bozak-Marner was about as equally impressive offensively. The problem was that line was inconsistent, especially in the defensive zone. The then all-rookie line, led by Matthews, was the most consistent line last season and they continue to carry the team this season.
Since Matthews has missed the last three games, although the team is undefeated, both Nylander and Hyman have been moved to different lines. Hyman has looked more noticeable than Nylander, but once Matthews returns, they should be reunited.
