As I write this, the Toronto Maple Leafs have played five games this season, with a recent 7-3 loss to Tampa Bay Lightning dropping their record to 2-2-1.
They faced the rebuilding Detroit Red Wings last night, and a loss in any fashion would most certainly call for a move (whether that be a trade, signing, or waiver transaction).
Regardless, however, of short-term results, we all want the Leafs to become Stanley Cup Champs, and I’ve brainstormed a list of ways that I think could make that happen.
In this post, I will run through some trades, signings, and waiver assignments that I feel would really help the Toronto Maple Leafs.
