While many of the names won’t even be recognizable to the casual observer – Kenny Agostino, Nick Shore and Kevin Gravel are just a few examples – that doesn’t mean they are bad or won’t provide value to the Toronto Maple Leafs in the depth roles some will inevitably claim.
Kenny Agostino, in particular, is an addition I really think can help. The two-year deal he was given – as opposed to the one-year deals signed by Shore, Gravel, Jason Spezza, etc. – suggests GM Kyle Dubas and his staff feel the same way. And they should.
