Few deals are as unanimously loved. Jake Muzzin is a big guy who hits, he’s a 40 point puck mover, and he’s a top pairing defenseman. He’s also got a cheap, team friendly four million dollar cap hit with another year left to run on it. So, except for some people who’d never heard of him before, no one even complained about the cost for the Toronto Maple Leafs to acquire him.
Such unanimity is rare everywhere, let alone Leafs Nation, where 10% of still won’t admit that Jake Gardiner, star 50 point defenseman, is a legitimate NHL player.
