The Toronto Maple Leafs came out flying in game one, and even though they got behind a goal early, they were far and away the better team at 5v5, due in part to their relentless speed.
The Leafs came out fast, they got a lead, they (for the most part) stayed out of the box, and in the third they slowed the game down and played smart, while keeping their foot on the gas just enough.
You can’t ask for much more in a road game.
Game Two
The best part of winning game one on the road is that game two is essentially like playing with gambling winnings.
