It is as if the 2016 – 2017 Toronto Maple Leafs stepped on the ice for the third period last night, blowing a lead in the third period and losing in the process. That the loss came from the hands from the worst team in the NHL, only makes it worse.
It’s worrisome this is the second time in 7 days the Toronto Maple Leafs blow a lead in the third period, especially so close to the playoffs. Then again, maybe teams who’ve slogged through an 82 game schedule have trouble keeping their heads in the now when the playoffs are just over the horizen.
