That’s exactly what the Toronto Maple Leafs would be doing if they traded him away for Nick Holden of the New York Rangers.
Even if it were part of a package deal, if Holden was the main piece coming our way, then not a chance.
Let’s look at it from a few different perspectives.
- Leafs get something for Bozak instead of nothing
- They lose quite a good center in the process
- Holden comes over with one year under contract remaining
- He shoots left, not right, but plays on the right side
- It’s not like he’s young at the age of 30 (for hockey that is)
