The Toronto Maple Leafs are currently sitting with a plethora of players that they would love to deal – and some others that they should probably consider.
Jonathan Bernier, Joffrey Lupul, Dion Phaneuf and Tyler Bozak are the common names that don’t figure to be part of the long-term solution in Toronto. Leo Komarov and James van Riemsdyk are names that have been floating around recently as players the Maple Leafs might be wise to consider deals for.
Then, of course, there are the trillion other roster players on one-year deals that need to find new homes as well.
