If the Toronto Maple Leafs could go after one of Cody Franson or Roman Polak, who should they choose?
Both have a history with the team, so it’s not that easy of a question to answer, in my opinion.
A quick comparison shows some similarities.
- Around the same age
- Both shoot right
- Similar stature (Franson’s 6’5″ and 224 lb, while Polak’s 6’2″ and 235 lb)
- Can play a shutdown role with a physical presence
One major difference is in regards to point production.
Franson’s produced 205 points in 527 career games, while Polak’s produced 115 points in 634 career games.
