After playing only a handful of games with Boston College, Bracco has jumped ship and is heading to the Kitchener Rangers in the Ontario Hockey League to continue his development, according to Damien Cox.
This is a move that the Toronto Maple Leafs had been hoping for, and rightfully so. While the NCAA is becoming increasingly important to the NHL draft it just isn’t on the same competition level as the OHL – or any of the CHL leagues. It will be interesting to see how quickly the 5’9″ forward adjusts, what his ice-time looks like and how he grows as a player.
