I am not sure what I just watched, but it wasn’t the Toronto Maple Leafs team I had in mind when I declared they would win this year’s Stanley Cup.
It was the worst game of hockey I’ve seen since the Leafs fired Randy Carlyle.
It was the only game I shut-off halfway through this year.
I will always stay tuned for a great comeback or the possibility of a bench clearing brawl. When I was a kid, we lived an hour and a half from the Sky Dome, and my dad made us leave early in the 7th inning of a game where the Jay were getting crushed – to beat traffic, of course.
