After putting Jhonas Enroth on waivers, it cleared the path for Karri Ramo to join the Toronto Maple Leafs. However, after two starts in the AHL, it doesn’t appear that he will be the answer.
After a dismal performance in Calgary last season. Ramo hoped to bounce back from a year that saw him post a 17-18 record along with a 2.63 GAA and a .909 save percentage.
Nonetheless, even with those numbers, he mysteriously found himself with the Maple Leafs. In spite of a contract, it will appear as though he will become the ideal replacement for the struggling Enroth.
