The former Toronto Maple Leafs regime’s youth continue to get moved out of the organization with the Leafs and Predators swapping 24 year old forwards.
Jamie Devane was drafted 68th overall in 2009 and Taylor Beck went two picks later at #70.
Beck suited for 62 games last year for the Nashville Predators, recording 16 points, while Devane has played two career games in Toronto – both in 2013-2014 – failing to register a point.
The deal looks to be nothing more than a potential fourth line player coming to Toronto that ensures the future continues to develop with the Toronto Marlies.
