Coming off a blowout win over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, and playing their second game back-to-back, their third game in four nights, the Toronto Maple Leafs showed no sign of fatigue as they handily defeated a Philadelphia Flyers team that continues to struggle.
A high paced game with lots of action at both ends of the ice, the Flyers actually outpaced and out possessed the Toronto Maple Leafs, posting a 56.86% CF% and 52.7% xGF%, but that is mostly due to score effects.
Matt Murray bounced back after a difficult start his previous game, playing excellent last night limiting the opposition to only two goals, despite facing 36 shots on the evening.
