At the Maple Leafs’ intrasquad game played Saturday at Scotiabank Areana, Team White outlasted Team Blue 7-3.
William Nylander sniped a pair of goals for the White squad. John Tavares, Adam Brooks, Pierre Engvall, Nick Robertson and Ilya Mikheyev added singles.
Mikheyev’s goal was scored in a 3-on-3 overtime session. Both of Nylander’s goals were assisted by defenceman Mikko Lehtonen.
Finding the net for Team Blue were Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews and Jason Spezza.
