It was a good week for the Leafs, and for Leaf fans that had the constitution to stay up and watch all three games. For the first time since 1995, if I can trust the TSN graphic on the last broadcast, the Leafs swept a California road trip and they did it ugly.
Playing their third game in four nights, they were not very crisp and controlled. They were a bit sloppy, they gave up some chances, but they also had their chances too. They had more shot attempts and were close to even in scoring chances. It all fell apart through the third period, and Sparks.
