Reimer sensational in Leafs’ third straight win

Goaltender James Reimer made 43 saves as the Leafs held off the Vancouver Canucks 4-2 at Air Canada Centre on Saturday night. The victory marked the third consecutive win for the Leafs – extending the club’s longest winning streak so far this season.

“We’re happy with what we’re doing right now,” Reimer said. “We’re playing well and sometimes we make mistakes and get off our game. But when we get back on, we keep battling.

One thing that’s been underlying throughout the whole last couple of games is we start to compete – even if we make the wrong plays or turning pucks over, we’re still competing to get back.
