Toronto Mike'd listeners know I've been threatening to buy a couple of microphone boom arms for some time. My RØDE microphones require that the speaker be right on them, and it's not always the most comfortable position for a guest. Boom arms will allow a guest to lean back and get comfy, while staying on the mic.
