Phil Housley named to the Hockey Hall of Fame

Former offensive defenseman Phil Housley named to the HHOF. After a career with Buffalo, New Jersey, Washington, Chicago, Calgary, Winnipeg, and St.Louis, Housley retired as a Maple Leaf.

The Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF) has named former Maple Leaf Phil Housley to the class of 2015. Joining Housley in the Hall this year are Angela Ruggerio, Bill Hay, Peter Karmanos, Niklas Lidstrom, and Chris Pronger.

The American-born defenseman, and scoring phenom has one of the best pedigrees out of all American defenseman. He began in Buffalo, when he earned 66 points in 76 games, a fantastic representation of his whole career.
